There are so many waist trainers out on the market that it’s hard to know which one is best for you. Here’s a round up of our favourites:
Yianna Latex Waist Trainer
The waist trainer from Yianna is available in a range of colours and sizes, so you can co-ordinate with your existing sportswear or favourite outfit. Featuring nine spiral steel bones, it will give you increased support for your posture but without being too restrictive. It has three rows of hook and eye fastenings, so as you lose those inches you can cinch in further. The waist trainer has three layers – a 96% cotton and 4% spandex lining, then a mid layer of 1o0% latex, with an outer layer of nylon+ lycra and spandex. It is suitable for wearing for a number of hours at a time, without anyone realising you are wearing it! As with most waist trainers it is hand wash only.
Angool Latex Waist Trainer
This waist trainer is similar in style to the Yianna with it’s nine steel bones. However it only has two layers so will be slightly cooler to wear (a 96% cotton and 4% spandex lining with a 100% natural latex outer). It’s available in five different colours and sizes from X Small right up to 5XLarge, although it is advisable to check your measurements carefully against the manufacturers sizing chart. There are three rows of hook and eye fasteners, and it is suitable for wearing for a long length of time. One point to note with this one is it is more suited to those with average or long torsos, so may be uncomfortable if you are more petite. Again, it is hand wash only.
Ann Chery Sports Workout Two Hook Waist Trainer
This is our favourite, due to the quality and workmanship of the outer fabric (100% latex, with a 100% cotton lining). It’s also the celebrity favourite, with fans such as Kim Kardashian and Jessica Alba using one to reclaim their post-children slim waist shapes. This waist trainer is suited to all heights of women, so is the ideal option if you are petite. It has two rows of hook and eye fastenings (with a three row option also available) It comes in stylish dark blue, purple and pink and comes in sizes from XSmall to 3XLarge. A fashionable animal print version is also available. The manufacturer recommends buying a larger size than normal, again use their sizing guide to ensure you get the correct fit (no-one will know which size you buy!)
Esbelt Waist Training Vest
This waist trainer from Esbelt is a slight variation on the traditional design, because it has integrated straps. This makes it perfect if you are going to be very active in your waist training and want to avoid any potential bulges! It has two rows of hook and eye fastenings and the design means that you can wear your own bra. It comes in black or natural (perfect for under white clothes) and sizes from XSmall to 5XLarge. Like the Ann Chery waist trainer, it’s made from a latex outer and 100% cotton lining, making it hand wash only.
